“Calling Places” is a series of (online) talks that prioritises voices of female researchers who are devoted to understanding the other(s) and nurture a particular interest for marginal(ity), operating at/from/in/within peripheries.
Conceived as a part of the “Tales from the Peripheral” project that Sonja Lakić originally developed as part of her Marie Skłodowska-Curie – EUTOPIA-SIF postdoctoral research journey (and has been carrying out while altering between the countries of former Yugoslavia, CY Cergy Paris Université – PLACES Lab and Universitat Pompeu Fabra), “Calling Places” is a monthly affair and part of the greater framework of “The School of Buying Time” that was launched amidst pandemic, in the Spring 2020.
